All of these details came up in a video that showed up on Reddit. Microsoft did not want any of us seeing it, so it was promptly removed but not before mirrors went up on Streamable (those were also taken down, by the way).
Other leaks spoke to a first/third-person perspective, which seemed pretty exciting - there was a reveal on a completely open world and a fresh multiplayer too. The game is also said to run on Unreal Engine, while players will be able to grow their hero status without paying attention to the main quest, although the building of towns could impact it in some way. Rather not so excitingly, it was also claimed that there would be no firearms whatsoever, but that's hardly supposed to be an issue.
Fans had probably given up on the Fable series and that was probably fair as it did seem dead. In the run-up to E3, though, rumors began swirling, with Fable 4 being talked up as leaks emerged. Naturally, there was an expectation, especially with the Microsoft crew informing us beforehand that they would have lots in store at the event. They were certainly telling the truth about that, but we imagine lots of Fable fans were let down by the complete blank.
However, when looking at the long list of Microsoft and Sony franchises that could make the jump to next-generation hardware, it's fairly evidently who has the edge. Taking star power and prominent, marketable franchises into account, Sny is packing several massive names that are each easy system sellers. Horizon, Spider-Man, God of War , The Last of Us, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted; these are all series that are offering fresh, interesting concepts that fans are clamoring to see more of, and that's without even mentioning all the currently dormant franchises that Sony could dip its toes back into as w

The Arkham series started off on a strong note with Batman: Arkham Asylum . This game toyed with the idea of an open-world formula, before its sequel ended up going all out with this conc
During Bethesda's E3 presentation last year, Shinji Mikami The Evil Within and The Evil Within 2 developer Tango Gameworks revealed that it was working on a new survival-horror game, Ghostwire: Tokyo. Not a lot is currently known about Ghostwire: Tokyo , only that it's not a traditional horror game, but an action-adventure where players will need to rid the city of Tokyo of paranormal enemies and supernatural evil. Given that no release window or platforms were announced, it seems safe to say Ghostwire: Tokyo is eyeing the next-generation consoles, although this is currently speculat
Perhaps the most unique upcoming horror game, Monstrum 2, is a 4v1 multiplayer horror game where players must survive in a procedurally generated labyrinth set in a decaying sea fortress. As a direct sequel to Team Junfish's 2015's rogue-lite Monstrum , four players take on the role of survivors and will need to scavenge for supplies and find hidden access routes to important equipment, all while trying to survive from a terrifying lab experiment gone wrong. Think Predator: Hunting Grounds or Evolve but in a procedurally generated environment where the puzzles are always chang
The Rabbids kind of kicked Rayman out of his own franchise for a while, and the last true Rayman game before the Wii party game, Rayman 3 , didn't live up to its predecessors. 2011 saw a return to form, however, with Rayman: Origins . The 2D side-scrolling platformer brought back all the charm, difficulty, and engaging gameplay from the character's debut. Origins and its sequel are often seen as two of the best in the genre from the past ten ye
Who said spooky cannot also be cute? Polterpup may be a ghost, but it still has all its dog charm. Also, the name is adorable. Fans were very excited when they learned they could pet Polterpup in Luigi's Mansion

No, we're not talking about Insomniac's excellent PS4-exclusive Spider-Man title — we're actually talking about 2014's horrible The Amazing Spider-Man 2, a game rushed onto store shelves to coincide with the release of the equally terrible movie of the same n
Escape does seem pretty intriguing as it isn't your regular multiplayer. Players are to form up in teams of three, infiltrate a hive, plant a bomb and then try to get the hell out of there in one piece.
If the rumors are to be believed, Fable 4 is exactly the kind of game that the Xbox One should've had in droves; an expansive and innovational RPG that takes the ideas behind the original trilogy and uses them to create a truly next-gen experience. Better yet, it's also proof that Xbox wants to create long-lasting and investable franchises that, much like PlayStation has done with God of War , can alter and evolve with the ti
Developed by Ebb Software and heavily inspired by the works of H. R. Giger, the original designer of the Xenomorph from Alien , Scorn is a first-person horror game that was first announced all the way back in 2014. After ongoing issues with funding, Scorn is back and in development for Xbox Series X and PC. Set in a nightmarish universe, Ebb Software has designed the game around the idea of players being thrown into an unsettling environment that makes them question what they see. Each location contains its own theme, and players will need to acquire skills, unlock weapons, and complete puzzles to make it out al
