Lifeline can be useful in almost any team comp with her healing ability and her passive. Add to that regular drops of purple armor and she is is a solid choice, even though her playmaking ability is limited. She shines as a support, but the reason she ranks in the bottom half is that she is rarely put to good
Keep Death Totems close but hidden: While Death Totem (Ultimate) is a nifty provider of a second life for Revenant’s team, that life becomes useless when the Totem is destroyed. In that regard, Revenant users should position Death Totems near areas of interest but hidden well enough that they’re not the first location enemy teams would choose when looking for t
Caustic Abilities Breakdown only shines when the circle is small enough to force enemy teams into condensed areas with little to no room around the traps. His position on this list is due to his lack of speed and limited utility in the current
The fact that Master Revan was this droid's master all along makes this character even more engaging. All in all, fans of Star Wars will love the effort put into this character and can't wait to play with him in the Knights of the Old Republic remake if this ever sees the light of day — something that seems highly unlikely given the relentless staff cuts happening under Embracer's rampant mismanagem
This is a tough problem, and unfortunately, I’m not paid enough to solve it. But I would recommend that the game consistently adjust and re-roll lobbies based on performance in the previous games played in their recent histories. So, if a strong player plays two or three games in a row alongside other players at their skill levels, they default to easier lobbies for a while regardless of their own skill levels. Us potatoes will be fine with this as long as there are occasionally some lobbies where it’s possible for us to win as well. Regardless of how it's implemented, if SBMM is in the game, it should still always feel as though a player is facing off against random lobbies in public ga
In worst-case scenarios in an Apex Legends match, Revenant can deploy a Death Totem (Ultimate) in an area that allows him to get a "second life." Any teammate who activates the Totem gets a "shadow mode" that gives them a free revive in the Death Totem’s location after death. In clutch moments, even Apex Legends Pistols can help Revenant’s team provided they’re in Shadow M
Compared to other Assault Legends, Revenant isn’t a head-on attacker. His toolkit is built to first destabilize enemy forces before striking with his Apex Legends teammates , ensuring opponents are at their weakest before Revenant’s team lands the killing blow. Since Revenant can only make the jump at opponents after silencing them, players are encouraged to stalk their prey and maintain their distance before securing an ambush. This means the ideal Apex Legends gameplay for this Legend relies heavily on positioning and trapping opponents in areas where even firefights won’t do much to save them. Here are recommended approaches to Rev’s gamep
While not team-oriented in kit design (or personality), Mirage excels on the current map because of his decoys and his ability to disappear in a tight spot. The elevation changes make seeing exactly where mirage is difficult, so launching a decoy is a little more believable, especially mid-fight when the enemy is shooting anything that mo
The damage reduction combined with the gun shield makes him a danger at any range and in most situations. His ability to scare people off the high ground with his Ultimate is the icing on the cake for Gibraltar in the current Apex
Revenant's final ability is his powerful ultimate, Death Totem. This allows his squad a finite amount of "immortality" as it only allows for their health to be depleted and when it would be completely depleted they will be teleported to the location of the to
Revenant's climbing skill makes the legend an extremely elusive character as well. He can escape from combat encounters in such a way that it is impossible to follow. Other than Octane and Pathfinder, Revenant is one of the few truly mobility-focused legends in the game. His ability to engage enemies in unpredictable and trick ways paired with his seemingly endless amount of evasion skills makes the robot assassin a deadly force to face on the battlefi
Based on my Xbox data, it appears the top one percent of players still put in almost double the time of even those in the 98th percentile. Theoretically, the 98th percentile has spent half as much time in the game and would therefore still not be quite as good as the top one perc
Using his drone, Crypto can mark the enemy locations for his teammate. Hiding from Crypto is almost impossible given the vast range of his drones and the small size of the ability. Coupled with the EMP ability connected to the drone, it makes Crypto a versatile and oppressive character in the right ha
