Location: The Ruins
Make your way to The Ruins—the set of destroyed buildings dead-center of the map. Use the True Sight marker in the area, then immediately turn to your right to find the Data Cache floating in one of the buildi
Location: The Ruins (building south of the crypt)
Make your way to the western end of The Ruins (facing left of the church). You'll find a True Sight marker. Activate it, then follow the path that goes west. This will take you straight to an Anc
Some markers have the "Barrier Breach" interaction, allowing you to run through Awoken barriers for 15 seconds. Most hidden zones have a barrier marker in them, so don't worry about getting stuck. Activate a marker, anti-champion mods run through a nearby Awoken barrier, then open the hidden chest inside. This is also how you find some of this level's Ascendant Anchors (explained later in the gui
After depositing the motes, Portal Team One will have the same Enlightened buff that was seen in previous encounters. They'll be able to break the shields of immune enemies, but only for 45 seconds. It's best to focus on breaking as many enemy shields as possible while the effect is up so the Conflux Team can continue to defend both Confluxes, and there are plenty of the Season of the Lost weapons that can help. After Portal Team One returns, break another of the same side part for Portal Team Two to go through and gather motes. They'll return, deposit their motes, and the same process will be repeated for the other side. Portal Team Two can enter the portal that is used to bring back Portal Team One, and it's recommended to do this so only one Cyclops spawns at a t
This emote channels Calus, the exiled Cabal emperor and aficionado of opulence. In it The Guardian leaps into the air, landing comfortably on a holographic lounge whilst twirling a goblet with sublime contentment. The emote's barrier to entry increases its rarity, as the Spire of Stars raid was vaulted before Beyond Light released. In addition to oozing comfortable cool indefinitely, Luxurious Toast is a subtle flex to others that you've completed high-end content that's no longer availa
The legendary Persevering Dance emote arrived to Destiny 2 in season 12. Unfortunately, it's a silent emote so passersby have to imagine the synths and facepalms of a successful rickroll. Showcasing Astley's trademark shimmy, Persevering Dance is a delightfully awkward addition to any serious Guardian dance part
It can be easy to forget now, with how popular the game is across its many platforms and how accessible it has become, that Destiny 2 was once a full-priced game just like its predecessor. But it wasn't until the release of Destiny 2: New Light (not to be confused with Destiny 2: Beyond Light ) in October 2019 that the game became free-to-play, bundling the first two DLC releases with
Ascendant Anchors are floating orbs scattered throughout the Ascendant Plane . These orbs emit a purple pillar of light to help denote their location. Unfortunately, most of these Anchors are hidden in caves and other interiors across the Shattered Realm. You'll need to go on a scavenger hunt to find all of t
With stakes commonly in "humanity’s extinction" range, Destiny 2 is loaded with intrigue, emotion, and all the exposition befitting a sprawling space opera. Always front row, the player-controlled "Guardian" is Earth’s greatest protector, and its least expressive. Despite criminal underuse of their voice actors, developer Bungie has recognized its community’s individual need to express exactly who The Guardian
After shooting the correct circles, the Boss Team can return to the center area and await for Destiny 2 's Consecrated Mind to relocate to another hallway. They'll repeat the same process, only this time a new member has to pick up the Voltaic Overflow. As aforementioned, picking up the effect twice before it runs out will kill the teammate. Additionally, if no one picks up the effect the whole Fireteam will wipe. There will be one point where all three members of the Boss Team have the effect, and one person needs to switch with a member of the Conflux Team - preferably the person who went third since they have the longest remaining effect t
Forest of Echoes contains three Data Caches for you to find. These floating orbs can only be seen while True Sight is active. You'll need the "Frequency Echoes" upgrade from the Wayfinder's Compass for them to sp
Nightfalls are the definite way of farming Masterwork materials for your weapons and armor. Enhancement Cores, Enhancement Prisms, and Ascendant Shards can all be earned from this playlist. The higher the difficulty, the better loot you'll receive. Higher difficulties also have a high chance of granting an Exotic armor piece. Those that want to min-max their build will want to farm this activity whenever they
Before starting the encounter, divide the team up into two teams of three. One team will become the Conflux Team, and the other is the Boss Team. There are very few roles that have to be switched up during this encounter, but for the majority of the time, these teams will be on their own. To begin the Destiny 2 encounter, stand at the center conflux where the last encounter ended. All Fireteam members will link up at this point and be tethered together through a beam, linking to a square off in the distance. Everyone will gain the Enlightened buff for a short time, and the Consecrated Mind will spawn. For now, it is immune to dam
