However, the patch will not fix issues caused by incompatible settings on PC, as Döhla mentioned in yet another tweet that " it won‘t help if you‘re running the PC version with settings your PC can’t handle. Game has tons of options to find a matching configuration though ." Lastly, the dev closed out the impromptu Q&A with one last response to a question about the copies of Cyberpunk 2077 that reviewers got to play, stating, " It is a different game with console update, ye
_Cyberpunk 2077 _ has teased a mysterious upcoming event of some kind called "Cybernight." CD Projekt Red's open world RPG has been at the top of many players' wishlists for years now, having charmed countless gamers with its vision of a gorgeous, massive cyberpunk playground, full of missions to run, crimes to commit, and NPCs to befriend, antagonize, and even roman
It is so close to release day that some platforms have already permitted the game to be preloaded . On player, Reddit user jmendo02 , tried to take that a step further and actually play the game, but was instead met by a screen where the character Johnny Silverhand, who is played by Keanu Reeves, tells the player to " go back to sleep " and wait for the game's true release date. The Easter egg is a riff on an earlier gameplay preview in which Johnny Silverhand told players it was time to wake
"Cyberpunk 2077 is a paragon of open-world gaming, offering the kind of freedom to explore and define your character that provides a new pinnacle for the genre. It takes everything we celebrate about open-world games, and learns from it, implementing best-in-class variations in a world that's so dense and detailed. Add in the human-like level of reactivity and emotional depth that it brings to its narrative, and it all combines for the most spectacular experience. Take a trip to Night City immediatel
On Twitter, CD Projekt Red developer Fabian Döhla took the time to answer several questions regarding the patch and what it will fix. First, Döhla announced that " a bunch of issues reviewers encountered (and reported) have been fixed already, some more are part of the update. " This tweet then prompted another user to ask about issues that reviewers claim to have still have had even after the game's so-called day zero patch, to which Döhla again respon
"I’m V and the game is Silverhand - I can’t get Cyberpunk 2077 out of my head. I’ve had it a week and played 70 hours, which is probably about as healthy as scooping out my face and replacing it with electronics, but it didn’t feel like work. Like a digital personality loaded onto a biochip, it felt like stepping into another life for a while. It’s a life I can’t wait to reli
It's possible that CD Projekt Red has whipped up some sort of ARG in order to help promote the game. These are always entertaining and engaging advertising campaigns; Activision proved that earlier this year with an in-depth ARG to promote Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War . Activision went all-out on this project, mailing slide projectors to fans and giving them a cryptic website full of puzzles to solve, and even a copy of classic text adventure game Zork . These efforts certainly paid off for Activision and were well in line with the conspiracy-heavy setting of the game. Cybernight might be a similar project, perhaps giving fans the chance to participate in some sort of digital heist. Or maybe it's the name of a mission in the game, or a special event CD Projekt Red will be hosting on release
Ruppert's recent post on the matter ends with a simple message: " Be better, please ." This kind of plea for simple acts of empathy, that should truly take no effort, is the rallying cry each and every time topics of this nature resurface. Evidently, the gaming community, at least as it exists on social media, still has plenty of growing to
Döhla's thread literally answers quite a few questions, but it also raises a few more, particularly for PC players who cringe at the idea of playing anything at 30fps. While it will be possible to adjust the settings and get the game to run at 60 FPS, doing so looks like it will cause a slew of other problems that the day one patch will likely not address. Assuming players stick to the recommended settings, the game should run smoothly on the (now) last-gen consoles, as well as on the new PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S . That is, at least until the upgraded versions of Cyberpunk 2077 story guide|Https://cyberpunk2077fans.Com/ 2077 releases sometime next y
Whatever Cybernight is, it'll be hard pressed to get fans more excited for the game than they already are. People are so impatient that they've already started making VR porn parodies of a game that's still a week away at best. It's been a long, hard wait for _Cyberpunk 2077 _ fans. Hopefully these bereft gamers will be able to take part in whatever Cybernight is with a copy of the game finally in h
" We had those issues in Germany, too. It’s mainly streaming issues - when the settings are too high for your setup the game is unable to stream the content and stuff starts to go missing (animations, audio, lipsync, objects). Adjust settings and it works waaaay smoothe
