In Grand Theft Auto games (especially those made up to that point) you can keep playing after the end, and killing John conflicted with that. There was the possibility of not killing John at all, but Cantamessa didn't think it would work. The story needed to go somewhere, and John's death was where it needed to
During a masterclass lecture held at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie in Paris, Red Dead Redemption Lead Game Designer and Co-Writer Christian Cantamessa talked about the difficult decision that led to the ending of the game that fans know and l
Not in a bad way though. Take the gameplay and strategy of Grand Theft Auto and add the expansive land of the old west and you've got yourself Red Dead Redemption. In this game you play the role of John Marston, a former outlaw hunting down his old gang in order to be granted amnesty. Because it's set an entirely different century from Grand Theft Auto, this game was modified to compensate for the lack of modern technology. Law enforcement has no way of pursuing you unless a crime was witnessed by someone. The scenery and sound are all deemed high quality and a natural fit to the gameplay. There's even a zombie expansion, which of course isn't natural, but still flows with this game. Red Dead Redemption 2 DLC|https://reddeadstation.com/ Dead Redemption has been given near perfect scores and sold over 13 million copies worldwide. It also won several Game of the Year awards from numerous publications.

This most recent update from Rockstar suggests that the remaster could absolutely be coming sooner than players expected, possibly even in the coming weeks. However, despite the exciting update, it's important to note that there is still no official confirmation of a **Red Dead Redemption 2 ** remaster being released, though players should definitely be on the lookout for another update from Rocks
It’s no secret that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be Rockstar’s most ambitious open-world game yet, with a map that is as massive as it is rich with characters, places and things to do. RDR2 is promising a living world and from the previews of said game it looks like RDR2 is going to deliver just that. Immersing ones’ self in the boots of Arthur Morgan (protagonist) would be a missed opportunity for feeling that immersion on an entirely different level. Things look a lot different when their happening through our eyes. While third person offers certain game vantages it can take away from the feeling of actually being whatever character.
